Initially teased with the small investment package, then came the bomb. You wouldn't make a dime with that package, just buy the product at a different price. Told one thing, then another after investing $1500, left hanging with little or no support-when I complained, no one returned calls. When a client was chemically burned and wrote a letter to the "company" she never heard a word! What kind of company lets this go on? Also, now that I have personally used the product going on 3 years, guess what??? it's not that great!!!! Department store equivalent! gg in nc

I've started trying Arbonne products.

Everything is a chemical. The oil naturally secreted by your skin is a chemical. Jennifer's info regarding the possible reason why someone may experience something they could call a "chemical burn" is accurate. Her advice on how to prevent this is very sound and useful for anyone thinking of adding an anti-aging cream to their skin care routine.

When people complain about a product and make a specific statement - "it caused a chemical burn" - they should be careful and ethical. They should name the actual product and describe the exact symptoms; not provide a dramatic, unprofessional diagnosis.

I believe many of you are supporting misinformation about the chemical burn. 1) A chemical burn would have to be diagnosed by a dermatoligst or other physician and 2) Arbonne doesn't use chemical FRAGRANCES. Many of the ingredients would technically be considered chemicals in the world of science. While I am no longer builder any type of business with Arbonne it is a great company with great products. It's just VERY VERY difficult to make much money at it without an incredible amount of work and yes, a little luck. Although your upline would never admit to that.

Come on folks, if you are building a business you had better get ALL your facts straight!

Regardless of the many bashers. I still love he Arbonne products. Makes me wonder if the complainers are really competiters. Not that Arbonne has competitors. They stand alone in excellence!

Anyone who thinks that this company is just BS needs to have a better sponsor. A good sponsor will help you through every step. Mine went way up and above what anyone would expect to help me in the beginning. She gave me 2 Re9 kits to drop off, mailers, party invites, catalogs, and any new products that they came out with. Not to mention checked in with me often to see what I needed. She is amazing. The company has stood behind any questions or problems I have ever had. If you think it's BS then you probably didn't want to work at it. You're not going to have someone hand you the keys to the Mercedes for doing nothing.

I myself had poor experiences with Arbonne as well. Some of the sales associates..get you interested and drop you if you don't buy something next time around. Sounds like the company has been brainwashing people like Amway did/does. The person complaining has a RIGHT to voice their opinion and no one can tell them that they are lying or didn't follow the process. The world is not all lollipops and candy canes. But being bitter, doesn't help, voice your opinion and move on.

I started with company in 2006 and the expansion into UK and Aus as well as Canada where I live caused the company to have a lot of nasty growing pains. So much so I would either receive damaged product on every other order or I would have to wait up to six weeks for a product order. Very bad shipping issues and as a result I protested by not promoting the product or buying any of it for a couple of months. To me, this is the ultimate punishment for a product driven company to great their act together. The customer service people are helping but they can only do so much to make the displeasure you feel as a consultant to do away. I do LOVE their products though and will always by them. I don't make a ton of money as a consultant because but it takes hard work and all of my friends that are using it get it for cost from me.

Screw Arbonne and everyone involved with it.

I have been involved with arbonne for 3 years with not a negative word to say. The products and customer service have been phenomenal.

I was not nor have I ever heard a rep. recommending that a new consultant spend the amount of money you are speaking of. That is one of the great things about this business you CAN do it with minimal start up costs ($29!!).

I am truly sorry you had such a poor experience. It is not the norm.

Hi Gayle. I'm sorry to hear you had such a poor experience. It does sound like you were sponsored by someone interested in their success and not yours... I'm sorry this happened to you.

I wanted to address the "Chemical Burn" issue in the RE-9 line ... yes, Arbonne products are botanically based, but there are chemicals in them - our products work because of a fusion of science and nature. However, my very first client had a similar reaction, here's why... When someone has very sensitive skin it is due to a poor acid mantle, their skin does not fight off bacteria, and causes dehydration amoung other conditions. The high concentration of vitamins A, C, and E will cause a "burning" sensation in a client like this. Using the hydrating wash, toner and night creme for 3-4 days prior to introducing the other products will allow the skin to hydrate and repair the acid mantle.

For Lisa T - While the Re-9 line is for anti aging, it is not just for the over 30 set - remember the nanosphere technology makes it safe for all users. Someone who is under 30 but has had a lot of sun, allergy or toxin exposure can certainly benefit from this line.

Good luck to everyone!

in response to nonnie stating"In my opinion, I don't feel you HAD a customer with a "chemical burn"...Arbonne doesn't use chemicals, etc in any of their products. "....are you insane? what do you thing a chemical is? looking at the mildest type of arbonne product"arbonne baby care Hair & Body Wash

it lists"Decyl glucoside" as a key ingredient.it may be pure,it may be safe...but it would be considered a chemical.

Comments on arbonne left me hanging
